Porphyry effect I painted
A selection of hand tools cast from Black Gun Foam. Painted with Acrylic paints mixed with Pros-Aide for flexibility
Medieval jewellery first sculpted from Plastiline before moulded in silicone and cast from Polyurethane fast cast resin. Painted with gold acrylic paint with a brown acrylic wash for ageing detail. Red gemstones added last.
Chatelaine scent bottle first sculpted from Plastiline before being moulded in silicone and cast from laminating resin with brass powder added. Swarovski crystals were set in place and a chain added. Bottle measures approx. 5cm and has a working screw-top lid.
Blank wooden craft box was stained with several coats of Button Polish and a miniature lock and key was added.
Tile was first sculpted with Plastiline before moulded in silicone and cast using Jesmonite 730. Finally a brown acrylic wash for ageing detail.
Afternoon tea selection made from salt dough and Polyurethane soft foam. Finished by hand with acrylic washes, cornflour dusting, Polyfilla, and acrylic paints mixed with gloss medium.
Dagger handle sculpted from Plastiline and cast from Polyurethane fast cast resin before painted with Acrylic paints. Blade was made from Balsa wood and covered with insulation tape with a black wash to highlight wear effects.
A Polyurethane resin cast taken from a Hallloween decoration. Painted using Dirty Down spray paints and finer details added by hand.
